There's a few forum members who saw Spot go and can verify that UU isn't pulling numbers out of his arse about that dog. Spots' particular bloodline is known for being "too much" Spectacular to watch? Sure. Nearly useless in NZ? Absolutely.
I think 7mmwsm was meaning that the Vizsla in question was out of control. Thing about P&S work is that at those distances, there has to be a certain amount of autonomy in the dog to do it to start with. As for handling at that distance, just be cause you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, judgeBut one has to wonder when a dog is under control at those distances or simply doing its own thing. I'm yet to see a hander who can handle a dog at those distances properly. Yes I have seen some but the very rear one.
