    Happy Xmas doggers

Have a great Xmas guys an gals and remember its all about sharing the love.Sharing and caring not only with your loved ones but those who you may not know personally but need a good turn to make their Xmas a little nicer.
A great inspirational book says '' -thee story of Lassie and Ol Red. After Lassie had eaten Ol Red kai which is also his litter brother , God asked him where his litter brother was. Lassie answered, “I know not; am I my brother's keeper?”

Lassie words have come to symbolize dogs unwillingness to accept responsibility for the welfare of their fellows woofs— their “brothers” in the extended sense of the term. The tradition of puppyism and dogianity is that people do have this responsibility.

A thought for RCGSP along way from home again this Xmas and he's had a shit week-Merry Xmas mate
And of course me home alone after the missus mistook me for fools gold and moved out not realizing Im really 24ct -she n the kitchen now baking--loca

I euthanised the dog I imported from Germany due to temperament issues.

Holy hell man, my heart goes out to you... that has to be gut wrenching, would be to me....

Another time, another place we should talk about this, but don't EVER do it again without talking to me first.

    I seriously feel for you.

happy Christmas El B. It was a somewhat bitter sweet experience this morning as it was the first Christmas without Harley the Great Dane leaping around.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I don't think there will be one for Christmas El B but perhaps in the new year. The Missus is suggesting another Great Dane but is talking about a Harlequin this time.

El B if I have not had the time to get in any hunting this year then I definitely don"t have the time to put in to a working dog.

Shit sorry Moonhunt I didn't ignore your offer, I just hadn't been back in this thread. I would struggle to follow dogs these days as I am way overweight and unfit (but working on it). I would love to though if for no reason other than honouring my old man who hunted pigs with a knife over dogs for years. I'll take a rain check on that offer if I can and focus on losing 20 kilo's and getting fit first.

Rushy I am unfit as buggery, we should get together and go for a walk just because I don't need to loose 20kilo doesn't mean I am a marathon runner.. when I joined the army, my staff were surprised (in a bad way!) at my 14min run time running behind this dog is the only thing that has kept me able to climb stairs!!
    Ruff likes this.
