will have to measure mooses top speed but cruises at 45 and is undefeated on himitangi beach from the 30km signs to five mile creek and back beats my 3 every time
@Dundee, what your clip does not show is the food you must have tied onto the quad fender - that is the only reason a lab will ever run that fast :P
Near to our place in UK was a Greyhound rescue centre that had an outdoor track for the dogs to exercise on. My Staffy used to race along the outside of the fence with the greyhounds and would nearly always beat them in a shortish sprint
Good video Dundee
Had a whippet as a kid that could really boot it over a couple of hundred meters.
Cheers
Pete

I got a grey hound (ex race) ... all I know is if I leave my sandwhich in the lounge and go to another room for 2 seconds .... that sandwhich is gone and the dog is still asleep on her bed when I walk back in .....that's fast
Didn't take the GPS (did take the GSP) but I know he's about 25kmh non-stop. Oskar often runs a 22k loop up the Tutaikuri with me. Just over 1 hour usually with a few gates and stops.

My little foxy does 43 on the beach :) can't see his legs looks like he's flying hah
from memory my bull terrier does about 50 on the beach, hes probably more of a sprinter. I will never forget the day me and a mate were on the bike towing a ride on trailer with all our fishing gear. I ran clean over him and out the back of the trailer. I though oh bugger carry on to the vet. but nup he looked at me like why have we stopped?
I can very much relate to that Bully.
My boy used to love fetching a big fuck off stick for "Daddy". Then he made the mistake of jumping up to grab it just as I was in full swing to throw it. Caught him square across the noggin and bowled him into a fence a few meters away. Shit I`ve killed him, thinks me.
He stood up and just looked at me to say "well throw the bloody thing then"
They say no sense, no feeling ;)
This is my mates ex racer on the new Shihad video :D Not very fast in slow mo ;)

Love english bullies  We had one crossed with a staffy. Bloody thing could climb trees :D
Me too - like their torpedo shaped heads and "fuck off" factor. A friend had a brindle one - magnificent specimen and unfalteringly loyal.
More into pure Staffys myself.
Did you know the English Bull was bred purely for the show ring
a great dane we had would break 60 km/hr our current when it was younger wouldnt even manage 50km/hr
wierd seeing as they were the same size and both female
Fast, she beats me in running races every time. Then does a loop back just to lap me.
DD if you need more speed from your Lab. Squirt a little TURPS on its arse,,probably put 10kph on it:cool:
My old pig dog would do 55km along side the quad. ....she was a first crosd GWP greyhound.

Jet is the fastest dog I've seen in Wellies and he has a few greyhound mates. Would love to clock him! "Water cooled" (when raining) he seems to be even quicker!
He could run all day so long as he has something to cool off in. Stream, puddle, whatever the fuck you call this that he decided was cold...http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/05/4a5yzubu.jpg
mines so fast he overuns most retrieves and it takes a couple of miles just to take the sting out of him
