    ut I don't know how to train him to control his boredomness and excitement (reactive)

    I dont think you can- boredom cure is work excercise if you cant give him that and he wanders tie him up - excitement again work but again no work for him tie him up - Mickey Duck is dead right if he is wandering of and chasing rabbits etc trouble coming - you need three commands 1) come thats easy food pat on leg come - 2) leave it and it means leave it 3) then the hard one stay - needs a piece of ply wood on lawn to teach and stay means stay -remember the dog will respond to hand signals better than word commands - once you have those on him tie him up -stay - he will get the idea - very important point those training collars need the dog to understand whats required first - electric collars can totally stuff dogs - get over the aversion of tieing him up because if you keep allowing him to wander of yup trouble coming
