I think Viszla qualities are overrated here , may sound harsh but in my point of view are good only if you put a bag on them to carry what you hunted with your Deutsch-Drahthaar your Deutsch Kurzhaar or even your Springer or Brittany , all those breeds are much much better then Viszla .

When i say much i say much better and easy to train , much better to work with , much better nose, much better hunters overall .
My favorite all around dog is Drahthaar no matter what you hunt he will be your good companion .

    Regards

P.S. I'm from Romania , I live in a town close to Hungarian border 250 km from Budapest so here we get really easy dogs from the best kennels from Hungary in years i never saw a Viszla (train in Romania or and champion adult brought from Hungary) better then breeds enumerated above , maybe with one exception for Brittany who have difficulties to carry large game like foxes or hare.
    Pointer and Kaimaicockher like this.
