Thread: I would like a dog too!

hey, i got 2 dogs as pups from a pig hunter for a box of beer, ones so gunshy its not funny (hides under the car when the gun comes out) but the other is awsome for goats (i dont use them 4 pigs).
as far as breed goes theres are a bit of everything, mums a pointer dalmation cross and the dad was some kelpi, greyhound, bully something or other.
they look like slim labs, great with the kids, and have a really good hunting instinct, a good nose, they retreive too (the mum was hunted with the pups in her belly so the instinct of the hunt can go to the pups, which is why i reackon pig dog pups can make good hunting dogs)
have a look on trade me under free/cheap pups, (alot of overlooked dogs alot of good deals there thatd make a good pet/hunting dog, but i rekon if they have some lab or pointer in them that makes all the difference (i worked with a guy whos pitty would bring in the cows like a collie, so i guess it can depend alot on the dog).

next breed i want to try would be something with a bit of ridgeback or weimaraner, im not that keen on purebreeds, i like a good cross section in there
