get anything other than a chinese crested and it'll probably end up as good as you train it.
Depends if you want a companion or a fair dinkum hunter. If its the former just grab whats gets your fancy, if it's the latter there are a fair few blokes on here who breed just look through the deer dog threads and you'll find something good.

I got way too caught up in it to the point of stress (was fucking stupid) in the end the compromise was with the missus not with the best hunter breed. I settled on the idea that itll be as good as the effort I put into it so we'll just wait and see.
