Thread: I would like a dog too!

The reason I suggested Wire-Hair pointer was that I hunted with a guy a few years ago that had one. Was 3 months old & its 1st trip on the deer in the Kaweka's.His mate had a 5yr old GSP on the trip as well. The Wire hair was pointing every bit as well as the GSP ,its owner wasn't reading the pup (initially ) Few days into the trip that changed ,it was doing it naturally & was part of its genetic make-up.

I have a lab that probably has the desired attributes but finding another like him may take a while.Probably not a pure bred lad that I thought I was buying but more likely a bit of GSP or similar in his blood line.Not that its a bad thing ,in fact I'm quite happy about it really.
