I personally have absolutely no time or respect for people that behave in the manner you have described.
My dog came from an extremely bad place and person. All I will say is its amazing what a little bit of love,common sense and respect for the animal will do, but then I'm a so called 'townie', so you an me are VERY different people.
For one thing, I have two eyes, unlike you by the sound of statements that you make.
