I saw this on the "Dog Whisperer" - Mexican American guy had a show on TV.

I've tried it and it worked for me, on my two SPCA ex pig dog pups. Both of them fast, eager and would run off as if there was a pig to chase, only coming back for food. Not so good in suburbia. Had to be on a leash at all times when out.

So this is what to do, if she is ignoring commands. She doesn't see you as the Boss, not the leader of the pack.

Sit down with her in a comfortable situation and when she's calm, gently lay her down on the floor, pat and stroke. Then lean on her, pin her to the ground, with your body, gently and wait. After a minute or so you will notice her give a big exhale, like a big sigh.

This is her ceding dominance.

Now that you are the leader of the pack, things might go better. Try it - it's free. Might be worth doing twice.
