He is an English Smooth Hair Fox terrier.
Lots of farmers had them in the 80s and 90s
I have had them since i was 5 yrs old.

does looks to have a bit of whippet in there, the brindel being the clue...... the old type foxy used to be very common, almost a kiwi breed in it's own right.
it's almost gone now as a type thanks to the introduction and crossing of the jack russell and the fixation with the so called minatures, bred out of existance like the smithfield.

just googled the English smooth haired foxy. Im still leaning towards foxy x whippet. his head isn't as long as those dogs and hes not as wide. hes to much like a miniature grey hound when he runs (haven't seen whippets run) what do you guys think by the pics?
