Thread: Nelsonites

Am up in Nelson for the weekend and looking for somewhere to tae the dogs for an hour or two walk. Dont need to find any animals as the missus is up with me. Will also be at the range on Sunday morning.

Any suggestions as to what to do while up here? Driving out to motueka today and market tomorow but thats all we had planned

You could try the cntre of nz walk. Or up maitai valley. Also if you trun left just across the bridge to rabbit islnd you can walk dogs there. Or appleby riverbed

Not sure of the DOC rules for the hounds in Kahurangi or Abel Tasman, but top of Mt Aurthr carpaprk an hour and a bit to the top or Takaka Hill are both good places for a bit fo sight seeing around or near Mot

Get her to drop you off at the Brightwater pub and pick you up on the way out of town. That way you'll be spared the shopping horrors.

Anyone going up to the dovedale range tomorrow? Was planning on Sunday but if someones free sat it gets me out of shopping and on the road south earlier on sun. If anyones free Pm me

Or ideally this evening after work, am staying in the middle of nelson have wheels so can give anyone a lift if they need it
