    It's the age - testing the water's etc....being a clever clogs....imo getting them to use their brain heaps at this stage will help alot too. Agree with the pack mentality. When she's misbehaving, do what her mum would do - push her over, pin her down and hold her there until she stops fighting you. Let her up when you're ready to...and lean over her as well. If she won't sit for food - then she goes hungry for another half an hour. Be as pig headed as her, or she'll run rings around you! She may be barking from boredom too - a nice juicy canon bone cut in half (not lengthways) works great...and when the marrow's gone, stuff it with peanut butter - keeps them occupied for bludy hours!
