I was thinking it could be an into for me. Have a dog that's not totally green for a couple years, learn a few things, then get a pup. Only problem with that equation is then I have to pay for it to sit by the fire unless I give it away. I'll talk to the guy and see what state he is in.

You already have a fire guardian. I'd go a bit younger mate. Otherwise he may not want to bend to your terms?
