Then we found this young girl for sale on a Facebook page,11 month old American Bulldog / Mastiff cross, um yeah a bit bigger than we were planning on but after after a few good conversations with her owner and seeing a few videos of her we finally ran a quick road trip over the hill to Blenheim, introduced ourselves and our dog to this young bitch, and bought her home to join the tribe. She needs a fair bit of training and a name but both will come forthwith. She has a personality that made it impossible to say no to giving her a home.

Getting towards the end of her working life. One days hunting of 10km like yesterday and it takes her several days to recover. I'm the same.

Poor old girl. Maybe slow down a bit or make your trips a bit shorter if you can. I know the feeling, I can still work anyone at work under the table, but takes me days to recover now.
As long as she is still enjoying herself that's the main thing. Not good when you see their mind is willing but the body can't keep up.

Vet suggested we try this on our 11.5 year old Lab bitch....and has actually helped her a lot......
