yeah mate getting pretty excited now either Friday night or Saturday morning for the new mini yapper. Been dogless for over a year and it sucks big time. The breeder named him Jack, and I've been raking my brains trying to think of another name but might just end up keeping it.

Well I got the little man Jack yesterday. Lets just say I didn't get much sleep but no doubt things will get better with time. He was 8 weeks old on Thursday. Swapping between chaos and sleeping ( Jack not me ).
Will try to get some better pics once I find my good memory card for my camera.

Cheers mate, yeah I had nearly forgot how a pup is like a highly mobile baby getting into everything it's possible to get into
He is a Vizlador. Apparently it's a thing Father was a black Lab and mother was a Vizla

interesting cross...hopefully the lab bit calms the visla bit and keeps it a bit warmer, hopefully the visla bit gives the lab bit a bit more speed and fizz.

Looks good. Be a good mix I think. It will be interesting to see how he turns out. Are you going to use him as an indicator dog? Has he got hunting parents?

His father is a big black lab and mother is a Visla. Apparently the tan coloured pups were more popular for some reason.
Apparently there are some hunting lines somewhere there but he is primarily a pet for me. I may take him hunting at some stage if I don't think he will be a liability.

He's got character that dog. With the sense of smell that a cross like him will have, I doubt he'll be a liability. I've never owned a lab, but the Viszla I've recently acquired is ruled by his nose.
If you have a garden and a library, you have all you need. Oh, and a dog, and a rifle

Well he's definitely got Visla ears and as for his nose he got a bee sting on it 2day so it might be supercharged now he didn't make a squeak but lucky I saw it happen. I don't know if he will be as keen on windfall peaches again.
I've never had a lab or visla before so it's all new territory for me.
