Photos of your dog

The dogs are looking a bit depressed tonight, I was sitting on a ridge today and they were hot on the trail of a goat below in the pines. That is normally my que to start heading down to finish it off, but then I saw Cruze burst out into the cutover at full steam chasing the now invisible goat. Damned if I know where it went and neither do the dogs. Its rare for one to get away from them when they are that close. Relevance you ask? One of my dogs is 10yrs as well, she may have slowed down but the nose and the keenness is still there.

Yep, they never stop loving it even after their body slows aye?

I wonder what it might have been like if I had had my dog a bit later and had been into hunting them, I'm sure he'd be a bit more worn haha too much pampering and lying in the sun has my boy in as good a shape as he has even been. We dodged the arthritis that is pretty common in his breed and for that I'm glad.

Yep, can even have 1/2 and 1/2 one blue and one almond

The wifes collie lab cross has or rather had(getting old) crazybright orange eyes

They are bright blue when pups , then turn brown . Show breeders want dark brown I believe . Light brown always look spooky/ crazy

Huskys are awesome.

Here's Pip my GSP yesterday in the tops, "look dad, there's one of those chamois things!" I'd been watching it for 20 minutes already. Haha!

21kg. Vet said shes a bit fat so I haven't been feeding her as much, she should start to lose a bit of weight.

20 gauge. yea the 20g solid makes things un happy haha hes good at flushing fallow but has no interest in reds. I can get him to sit at my feet and watch goats or pigs but as soon as I shoot then he wont listen haha hes of

my old dog Gypsy sadly no longer with us at 9 years old she had not slowed down a bit, im not sure if she was a full lab.

I got her as a 2.5yr old had done no hunting at all and didnt really get proper hunting training but she knew what to do and she did it well, i know this is not so good lol she absolutely loved possums one day she got stuck 6 foot up a tree lol, but when you got the gun out she knew what was going on she did what we wanted most of the time lol. One duck shooting she managed to retrieve 2 ducks at once out of a high flowing river. The pic with the hare is her as a 3 year old.
