dogs, you got to love 'em. best hunting mates.
Mum and her pup here. 4 year old pup now........good working dog and also. The ' Bolt 'on the right is my cow dog in the mornings and hunting and fishing buddy in the evenings.

Oops two of same pic. Unusual to see the vizsla cross in a photo sitting still . Out on hunts sitting still for a change. And little foxy opposes to us going away I think
The GSP females can be hard work, the old one has always had a mind of her own and the young one learns off her when she would be better learning off the Vizsla male who is calm and laid back. Him and I, we often look at each other like "sheesh".Quote:

The young one points quail well but have struggled with her on the pheasant it has been difficult to even find any though last few weeks she has been getting some good practise in.

I've been doing the same Hillclima, getting some birds in before the season.
Really happy with this little dog, three coveys of brownies this morning, only had to drop him to flush once with the whistle the rest he just dropped himself. needs some shot for him now

top picture was today on a run up a local track worked up the goats to a mob just to watch them. can any one guess the breed of him as the other day I was running with him and a older man with his city dog made a comment to his kid that ask what breed he was and his dad turns around and say oh probly some mongel breed hahahaha. little did he know my dogs blood line is a top trails dogs

Duke is a 3 year old mastiff(bull with a french mastiff as one grandparent)he is a very solid dog who can run fast over a short distance.he has remarkable long distance vision. yes he spots little piggy in the horse paddock.little piggy who has been adopted by the horses.well upshot was duke charged after piggy so we had horses and piggy going everywhere.duke grabbed little piggy on the ear,so i had no time for more photos,as i had to rescue piggy,only a sore ear and tell duke he was a bad boy.
Hahaha looks like duke wanted a bit more then poor piggies ear :thumbsup:

I obviously can't speak for them all GSPF but every NZ one I have seen did, excepting dogs from one particular line. Most of the older working blood we had here were very good retrievers, the equal of any versatile breed I have seen.Quote:
