My mums dog looks just like her. Are you going to use her for hunting?
lol Paddles is a great name for a dog, she is a cutey :)
She might make a great fast bowler :) some of you youngsters might not know who that is :ORLY:
Back on the farm now, so had to get my boys (4&2) their first dog, a huntaway. They named him Maui

Best mates @JoshC, always great to start kids of with dogs when they’re young.
There’s a strong chance I’ll come home with a Huntaway pup soon. One of the best bitches I’ve ever known is whelping as I type, she’s retired now from a 9,000 sheep hill country farm and given top dog privileges on the deck of the homestead, which says a lot for the high regard in which she was held on the job. And the sire is a local legend. So they’ll be good dogs for sure. But as always I’m very wary of bringing a pup into the home where there’s already two house dogs, the Staffys of course, might not end well. Hmmmm.
No longer with us since 2010 but I just found this photo of my old mate Sam who was my constant companion for 14 years, seen here just daring someone to try and get into my (his!) Hi Lux. Customers at my Ch-Ch shop years ago will remember him keeping his beady eyes on them! Note the little block of wood that he has rescued from the workshop just to keep his teeth in good nick. 'Gonetropo' will remember him!

Isn't it funny how a dog's owner cant seem to smell their own kuri- bit like your own farts are pure gold.Gundoc I well remember Sam giving me the evil every time on entry, so he certainly earned his keep re unwanted tax collectors, visiting mormans & other unwanted tire kickers. No offence intended, but your happy snap of Sam jogged my offactory memory.Plenty of water has passed under the bridge now to bravely say HE WAS ONE SMELLY DOG!
Did someone say SAUSAGE :PAttachment 141913
Ha, we have a couple of those also. Great time wasters but lots of fun!

No blow flies, wind in your face, damp ground, and a good young bitch.Attachment 141961
Arrrr @Dicko my dogs a Working cocker, he just likes bacon and sausage to eat:P:o
Sideshow, mine are none working sausages. Great noses and I reckon they would make great rabbit and fox dogs. Really strong hunting instinct in them. They would be truck hunters though!
Actually saw one they used in France to find shot boar, little falla went really well! God knows what he did when he found a wounded one though??
QUOTE.. Gutsy little bugger.
Jeeezsus @Rushy,..lol..for sure mate......I think he had that big fella by the snout...wasn’t going to let go either...or.....the collar got hung up on the TUSK and that little bloke was along for the ride!!!

So cute :)
That is one concentrating dog :D
Dogs. And a teenager.
Thick as thieves, these three.
Two just pretend they can’t hear me, the other genuinely can’t most of the time. Wonder why. Fuckwit.
Love them all dearly.

Believe me, it’s worth the look on her face when I play trance or metal loud and long enough for the pot to vibrate onto the floor... She never learns.
This is my dog. Previously trained as a police dog and accompanies me everywhere. I use her mainly for tracking deer which in a woodland can be difficult to find even if they only run a few yards and as I shoot mainly roe deer so they soon disappear. A great nose on her and poachers aren’t too keen.

Bloody handsome dog @bryn.
Picked up our new addition to the pack on Sunday, The better half had talked about a terrier for a while, A Stafford-shire or similar.
We have looked around at pups for a month or two, we also looked at rescue dogs, which all seemed to be in the wrong Island or were either too old or had a bad trait that put us off, sadly, as there are some beautiful dogs out there that have had the misfortune of a crap upbringing. Then we found this young girl for sale on a Facebook page,11 month old American Bulldog / Mastiff cross, um yeah a bit bigger than we were planning on but after after a few good conversations with her owner and seeing a few videos of her we finally ran a quick road trip over the hill to Blenheim, introduced ourselves and our dog to this young bitch, and bought her home to join the tribe. She needs a fair bit of training and a name but both will come forthwith. She has a personality that made it impossible to say no to giving her a home.

The name is “Snow”.
Ivy's nose has never been wrong. Even when full of hook grass haha Attachment 143195Attachment 143196
It is, as they say, a dog’s life.... Hours and hours and hours he spends on his pillow, upside down, in front of the fire.
You should see his face when I move the pillow into the laundry...

Getting towards the end of her working life. One days hunting of 10km like yesterday and it takes her several days to recover. I'm the same.
