She is the least dominant dog I've ever known. Extremely deferential to her brother, until he tries to eat her food whereupon she fucks him up big time. So nah, don't think it's a dominance thing. It's a weirdness thing!

Nugget our late cocker, believed he had physic powers...one day he stared at bag of meat hanging up,and it fell down....oh dear from that day forth ,he would stop and stare intently and any out of reach food.....sure it would fall...... but it never did.... we still joke about it now...the nugget stare.
The wife went to town and left her Shampooed Snow White best friend with me to look after .
As the car was going down the drive I was already showing the Dog where the Rats are under the old shipping container out the back of the shed .
6 hours later this is how it looked when Mum got home .

This is my new mate rudi he's only just beginning his hunting career since coming to live with me about 2 months ago. He loves the water and is a great bird destroyer but hopefully he will learn to just bring them back and not to eat them aswell. Hes also got a good nose for deer and were working hard on getting our first one together. So far its been great fun teaching him the life of being a hunting dog.
New pup Ida last week. Hopefully will be after the deer in time to come. GWP/lab/collie. Good fun so far and a quick learner.

Don’t have a hunting dog anymore. But have these four wombles to keep us company. My wee heading bitch would be a cracker deer dog but I always forget to take her with me.

4 noses would find the deer better than 1, but ya might want to limit yourself to day hunts to keep that mob in check :)
Looks pretty nippy there
Our pup Tine now 13 months old with a few ducks and deer under his belt. His mum sulks a bit when I leave her at home to give the pup some hunting time.

Meg bailed this rabbit in the garden this morning, where it got its head stuck in the netting fence. Very proud of herself!
Here’s Millie making a statement possibly on my eyesight or aim or both, her motto is safety first kids,Attachment 202267
Starting the day
Looks pleased with herself carting a Fenn6 rabbit around – first of the new lawn diggers
Not so happy yesterday after a couple of morphine drops in her eyes at the Vet – wife left the kitchen rubbish bucket on the floor in the garage while she put on a coat – in a flash – four used coffee pucks disappeared - $170 vet fee to watch her spew

I was there last month with my old girl, and it is the worst.
It is part of the deal though, and how you pay them for all the love they give you.
Dogs don't live long enough.
