That dog just looks like he knows how to use that bow. Lies down and shoots it horizontal is my guess :D
We bought this wee girl last week, our 3rd GSP, and got her flown down from up north. I’ll train her as an “all rounder” but she’ll be our family pet first and foremost. Most chilled pup I’ve had, been tagging along at work and play and seems to be loving life. Very eager to please. Already strutting past the farm dogs in their kennels knowing she gets to sleep at the house [emoji23] The boys named her Penny.

Can't you at least get him a stool to sit on :)

Pigs are friends not food rudi. These pigs are at least.
lol looks like he can already taste the bacon :)
This is Brian (Mr Brian Happy Pants Jandel ) Not an image of all of him obviously but it does give an indication of his 'I'm on the job boss' mood look. Most of the time he's more in the mode of the second pic. Pointer / Heading dog cross.

Nikau still hasn't had all his vax's so we're hesitant to get him out around town just yet. We've taken him to our parents places to give him a change or scenery, etc.

Last night a few moths were flying around a light making some noise. He showed a good medium eyed stalk and then locked up on them as he got close, 1 front paw up then another step and locked up again on the other front paw.
Today was his 1st time on a long line. He was excited but got grumpy with the long line. Felt like he had freedom but I was quick to take it away from him. He was quick to learn though and knew exactly what i wanted. I have been finding it hard to put in work with him with my kids around. As expected though, both the kids and pup are excited and easily distracted.
Bloody hell this dog is impressing me with just how smart and fast learning he is.
He looks like an awesome dog :)
Sure has that switched on look in his eyes
He is an awesome dog, showing a lot of potential. The cocky had his blood lines all written down and i had no bloody idea who they all were. His mother is tied back to Lloyd Smith's Ace. A quick google search showed me who Ace is and his colourings are very similar, so hopefully there's some more potential to come from him. A family member 1st and hunting companion i look forward to leading me around the hills.
Father and Father-inlaw have asked if i'll give him the chop. I plan on keeping him whole, is this a good idea or not? It'd be nice to possibly get a pup out of him if he proves to be a great dog.
You will get a whole lot of different takes on whens the best time to fix your dog, if at all.
I have discussed with a few vets who are also mates and for me I would keep the dogs whole until at least 18montsh old to let them grow. I neutered a dog at 8 months and he was tall lanky and skinny, no health problems but he didnt have the muscle his litter mates did that were not neutered. A dog that grows with hormones tends to be a bit more stocky and rumour has it bone density is better? If I get a dog next time round I will keep him whole unless.
My current Bitch I have let have 3 heats, she will get fixed this year as I dont want to breed from her, She has finished growing at 2 years old.

Pimping out my Bitch
Ha ha
Followed me round spraying for a few hours this arvo, helped round up some naughty calves that went bush, got distracted and started tracking deer trails, jumped in every water trough we came across and went for a proper swim in the pomahaka at the end of the day, its a dogs life. Too tired for the tennis ball this evening. Heat really takes it out of them, look after your wee buddies

The eyes say it all !!
The eyes have it, motion passed :D
In the few pics I've seen of Bo, he looks like quite a contemplative type of woofer.

The old fulla Jed has got a sore leg. He hurt it chasing a ball a week or so back. I've been walking Bea on her own and keeping him at home but for the sake of his mental health I've taken him out the last couple of days. His leg is still sore but he's a shitload happier.
speaking of hound friendly pubs, heres me having a pint with the dog in Nelson last year
