Pig bones
Hey team after some advice,
Is it all good to feed dogs pig bones?
Have given them hundreds of venison and goat bones over the years but never had much luck on pigs until the weekend where I bowled a small sow.
I'm assuming it's all good but better safe then sorry

99 dogs out of hundred they will be fine...the other one MIGHT get a case of "go slow" which funnily enough does just that to your dog..... for about 24hrs... some dogs wont eat raw pork at all..but will scoff it cooked.

They already had a chew when they helped ya catch it.
Apparently the rib bones aren't a good idea, as they splinter.

cool looking Dogs, look happy to have caught up with the pork.

Depends if there is go slow virus present in the area. Will destroy the muscle mitochondria if they eat infected tissue. Lots of it top of North Island. Don’t know about South Island. Not much research done into the virus/toxin as yet, it’s all privately funded for now
