    Puppy love

Well it's been four days since our 8 week old BWMD (Brown Whirlwind of Mass Destruction) entered our home and my family's lives.
And what an entrance.... I still bare the scabs on my cheek.....
After placing the crate on the lawn , opening the door and sitting a couple of meters in front of it to coax him out , he launched out of it like a scud missile and high tackled me.
    In the face.
And I haven't stopped grinning from ear to ear since....

Friends , I introduce you to the little brown Whirlwind named....

    Remmy....

And don't be fooled by the cute photos. The only time he sits still long enough for a pic is when he is asleep or being held , and the teddy bear was sacrificial and was shredded within seconds of the pic being taken.
    Gotta love him though....

And I would like to thank the forum member who allowed us to take in one of his pups. It's changed our lives. Every day is an adventure....

    You know who you are....

    You're right there @Micky Duck.
I never would have guessed the impact this little tyke has had in just the few days we've had him.
It's gonna be one hell of a learning curve too not having dogs before , but I am already beginning to understand what dog owners such as yourself and others have said about their pets.
Looking forward to having a hunting companion as well as a pet , and hopefully he proves to be better at it than me

Oh shit! If the puppy is cute, the dog iwillbe a brute. Now that you have a dog in your life, you will be forever changed. They are a loyal friend that lives with the single minded purpose to please you no matter what shit life throws your way.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

We believe a house with out a dog is not a home.

There will be ups and downs in the distruction mode for a bit but enjoy your pupply they don't stay puppies for ever.

Doesn't feel like that at the moment... Little bugger is screaming the house down at the moment in the crate , sleep time , while I'm trying to have a nice relaxing coffee... yeah right !!

As others have said, enjoy your time together....as tomorrow you'll wake up and ask yourself - where the hell did that 10 years go?
My boys just had his 1st birthday and it feels like we only just picked him up.

@Ftx325 Congratulations mate.Thats a nice looking pup. There is something quite primal about hunting with a dog, kinda takes you back to your roots and adds a whole new dimension to hunting

Thanks @hunter Al.7mm08. Thats a nice stag you and your friend have got there. You obviously work well as a team
I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time out hunting but I'm going to have to do a bit of reading etc and figure out how to train the little monster.
Good to hear from you again mate and keep up the good work with your hunting partner there.

Any new leather creations to show off ?

OMG FTX he is so cute yeah well you have jumped in the deep end with the Tasmanian devil
Give up hope your house will ever be clean again, but the Pros will defiantly outweigh the cons once you have have gotten past the nutty stage and he settles into a bit of a routine.
    Happy times ahead.
I'm waiting for a few more months until I re-dog. These last few months have been the first time in 25 years I haven't had a dog so Once I fully pupy proff the front boundary fence I'm back in dog town
