    Check puppys had all its jab's before getting out an about (I say this with out knowing how old Remmy is), Parvo is a basterd.

    We only give our dogs all their inital shots/boosters and thats it. They don't get anymore as they will never need to go into boarding kennels but thats our risk and all us owners are different.

    Quite right @mikee. He has only had his first shot and due second in 2 weeks and third mid March so we are house bound at the moment unfortunately .
    But any of you guys are welcome to drop by anytime for a beer/coffee and a chat whenever and have a limb gnawed on by remmy . You've all got my number....
    And we're not limited to pizza .
    Got fallow in the freezer and a BBQ ......

    Perhaps we should make a plan if you lot are keen ?

    Whilst I cannot speak for VC, I gauge that his answer will be in the affirmative as there are three essentials of life (meat, beer and good company) on offer. Ha ha ha ha.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    So will the house survive??
    With the jabs I think is better to be safe than sorry especially as its your "first". For us we just get on with it but avoid places like the back beach. Izzy was out with us from day one but that was a risk we were comfortable with.

    Looking forward to see the pup develop. You will soon be wondering how you lived with out a dog for so long, they bring a new dimention to everything
    Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

    When loved ones come home, always run to greet them;
    Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride;
    Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy;
    Take naps;
    Stretch before rising;
    Run, romp, and play daily;
    Thrive on attention and let people touch you;
    Avoid biting when a simple growl will do;
    On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass;
    On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree;
    When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body;
    Delight in the simple joy of a long walk;
    Be loyal;
    Never pretend to be something you're not;
    If what you want lies buried, dig and keep digging until you find it;
    When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
