Just found out my GWP is riddled with cancer so has to be put to sleep.Bought her home for a few days so the kids can spend some time and say our goodbyes.
So gutted,have had some brilliant times in the hills together,will be lost without her.

at the end of the day you have to tell yourself that you gave them the beast life they had, my dog was a rescue and a real mess of a starved mutt. he's knocking 8 now and i cant figure out what to do once he goes down but i know he has had a good life and thats what you have to realise its that dogs have a short lifespan, but what they bring to yours is infinite
Always a tough call to make, had to do the same with cancer in my dog a couple of years back. Just know that its a good call, and one we owe to our good mates.
