Ok folks I know shock collars are contentious issues but I believe they work well.
Have seen one that just buzzed as a slight correction and also used one doing kiwi aversion that gave them a good belt.
Looking at buying my own as one dog keeps buggering off and finding possums when out for evening walks when I don't have the rifle and hunting isn't the activity. No matter how much yelling she'll be sitting under a tree barking at the bloody thing walk off and leave her and she'll join back up further along the track but this is getting old fast.
Would a buzz/vibration be enough to bring her back? What the the features I should be looking for on th collar and hand unit? I did a quick look and see they range hugely ($80 is for a cheap off trade me to $800+) http://www.mggproducts.co.nz/index.p...product_id=457 is the one that seems to be fitting the bill best
