    Sleep well old boy

Well I guess it was only a matter of time, but I finally made the hard decision to let my old boy Rocky go last Thursday night. He was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago at the age of 11 and I've been injecting him with insulin twice a day since. Not to mention the huge amount of blood glucose tests I've done on him. He had a sever dose of pancreatitis as well as gastroenteritis 3 weeks ago and after 5 nights in Massey's ICU, he came home to recover. Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse and he went back in last Tuesday where they all worked to find out what was wrong with him.
Given his age and he was not getting any better I decided to stop being selfish and let him go.

He was a rescue dog I drove from Palmy to Taumarunui to pick up since the bastards posted a picture of him and I could just leave him there tied up.
That was 10 years ago and I had 2 Rotties at the time so Rocky made 3

Anywho he was a bit of an escape artist. I got home from work on the first day I had him and he was gone. Of course the 2 Rotties were there since they had no desire to climb over the back fence.
So new mission build him a prison

He was a real goofball and definitely not a thinker like the Rotties. But a loveable goof

    See ya mate

This is the first time I have been without a dog in more than 20 years. I've been wandering around the property like more of an aimless twat the usual lately.
They work their way deep into your life if you let them
