    Stopping bleeding

Any of you old pig hunters have a trick for stopping bleeding? Dog has a rip in his ear, not enough to go to vets but enough to be constantly leaking. Anyone got a good remedy to make it scab?

Celox granules would be what I'd use. Surely there is a remedy, cornflower, baking soda, honey or something

I wrapped a handy towel around the tip of my vizsla ear when she cut it and duct taped it on. Took it off and replaced every day. Worked a treat

I floured him last night. I should have rolled him in egg first he looks like he's about to be deep fried. Either that or he's picked up a filthy coke habit

good for burns too......speaking of glue, super glue might work to close it, maybe the bugga is shaking his head and so it never clouts enough.

If using superglue it stings for a second so dog might snap. Small amount at a time till it comes together. good luck
