I'm a believer in letting them fully mature intact whether dog or bitch the way nature intended to ensure growth happens properly with the right levels of testosterone etc in the system to control the process. Once mature then get them fixed if that's what you want.
I'm much the same. my last dog had prostate problems so had to have it done, otherwise I would have kept them on him.
