When your looking at a dog to last you for the rest of your hunting days, it’s no time to experiment. I’ve had a few breeds in the last 20yrs, and my next will be a blue heeler, as that’s the one I miss the most.

Got a mate who has. rather had them.Every time I went around there, if i didn't watch out, I got my calves and the back of my ankles nipped.
Possibly not the most grandchild friendly dog.

I had one toddler at the time I had Roy, I’ve got a 3,5,and 7 yr old now and wouldn’t be concerned about owning another heeler as mine never nipped. That’s an owner issue.
