whys my dog shy around other dogs?

my foxy wont hunt with other dogs he stays at my feet unless on super fresh pig sign or out for possums. when im pig hunting he stays at my feet when I take 3 other foxys till we hit pigs or the others get one. but when I take out another we bitch by herself these 2 hunt real well sticking together and of looking all the time. by himself hes a ripper of a dog on pigs just needs back up but its hard when he stays at my feet when I bring back up. why would he do this? the 3 hes shy with are all older bitches. the one he does hunt with hes grown up with at work

Hope you don't mind Posummer but I am going to park my chair here and watch while all the dog techo types on the forum psycho analyse your foxy to give you a reply. Should be fun. I can almost guarantee that before we get to the bottom of page two on this thread someone will strongly disagree with someone else about it. I hope I haven't hijacked your thread because it is a seriously good question you have asked.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I wouldn't say sulky but if I say way ya go or find em then his ears go back and he sulks. but by himself his tail wags and hes happy. if hes with the others and I talk to him he perks up but wont bugger of. if I try talk when hes by himself its like hes deaf and doesn't wanna know me hes to busy hunting. as soon as they get a pig hes of and stuck in
