    Worming

    Normally my dog is up to date , but checked and he's 3 weeks over . If I get him dosed tonight . Will he be Safe come this weekend ? . As in "sheep farm safe "? How many days untill he's safe ? . Drontial plus all wormer administered by vet

    I wouldn't worry too much, I only do mine when they are beginning to show symptoms / thy have been anywhere dodgy.

    Vets keeps sending them at the appropriate intervals so have a stack building up. Another issue is that worms follow a lunar cycle, can't remember the details but something along the lines of worming the, just before full moon is pointless, just after is most effective

    yes he will be safe, normally flushes them out in 24 hrs.........i get mine done at the vets in a few weeks to cover the bird season, that bit of paper lives in the glove box

    Guess it depends where you are taking them. Mine hardly go on private farm land... Horses for courses

    My vet got back to me , and said same . My farmer has requested one week stand down . His farm his rules I suppose. Will inform him but will respect his decision.

    48 hours is sweet for sheep measles after dosing, you will only have issues if you feed your dog sheep or goat meat.
