    X2 missing pointers south waikato

    I just seen online x2 missing female pointers have been found in rural south Waikato and are now up for adoption through one of the small pet charities. I can’t imagine someone is not missing these dogs and I know it’s a long shot but thought I’d post here incase someone knows someone looking for them. Possibly someone who is not on Facebook.
    The page they are listed on is “giving pound dogs hope“. They were listed as found for two weeks and are now being put up for adoption.

    Micro chipping solves the "finding" problem.

    SOUTH WAIKATO DISTRICT COUNCIL POUND (TOKOROA)

     COOKIE & SHEILA

    * Experienced pointer home(s) preferred *

    These sisters were found lost in the rural and not claimed after 2 weeks of being the pound's our care. Sheila (pink collar) and Cookie (purple collar) are quite obedient and seem to be used to being around people. Certain dogs they will bark at, but they don't show raw aggression. They would like to see them go to a home who are familiar with the breed and can provide the proper care and attention they deserve. They have no history on them so are unsure how they are with stock and cats.

    Meet and greets are essential! Pending adoption, Sheila and Cookie will be spayed, microchipped, wormed, and registered, so a donation towards these expenses would be greatly appreciated.

    If you think you'll be able to provide the home that Sheila and Cookie deserve, please feel free to send a text message/email to the pound and they will reply ASAP. Please bare in mind that they receive quite a few emails/messages, so they apologize if they miss anyone. They will try our hardest to reply to everyone.

    You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
    Sounds like a typical hunting trip !
