    dpt range of suppressors

    Hi Guys,

    Happy New Year to all!

Many people don’t realize the full range of suppressors we offer, so here’s a quick overview:

    Our Most Popular Suppressors
    Non-Magnum Over-Barrel Centrefire:
    Weight: 285 grams
Dimensions: 95mm muzzle forward, 120mm over the barrel

    Magnum Over-Barrel Centrefire:
    Weight: 340 grams
Dimensions: 95mm muzzle forward, 170mm over the barrel

    Muzzle-Forward Centrefire:
    Weight: 205 grams
    Length: 151mm

    Customised Versions
Mini Over-Barrel Centrefire (suited for up to .308):
    Weight: 255 grams
Dimensions: 95mm muzzle forward, 95mm over the barrel

Stubby Muzzle-Forward (a shorter version of our standard muzzle-forward suppressor with only three baffles):
    Weight: 150 grams
    Length: 121mm
Option: Reduce to one baffle for just 100 grams and 91mm length – still capable of handling .30-06, though sound reduction will be reduced.

    Customisation Options
We can adjust the over-barrel length of any of our suppressors to suit your needs, offering options from 95mm to 205mm (in increments of 25mm). Prices will vary.

Additionally, all of our suppressors can be configured for ultra-light and compact setups by running with just one baffle, or for maximum sound reduction by running eight baffles or more.

    Upgrades and Add-Ons
Stainless Steel Blast Baffle: Extend the life of the first baffle.
Muzzle Brake front cap: Further reduces recoil.

Most customised versions are not listed on our website, but feel free to have a look at pricing and full specs, also feel free to contact us with any questions. www.dpt.co.nz

    Cheers
    Darren

With Federal announcing their new Backcountry 7mm running 80,000 psi will your current magnum suppressor handle this or will DPT come out with a new model to operate at these high pressures? Assuming of course there’s enough take up of this new cartridge

We'll be focusing on muzzle pressure. Once we have that data, we'll further investigate the most suitable suppressor for that caliber. However, I anticipate that the magnum over-barrel suppressor should be fine.

I forgot to include our big barrel versions and ultra Mag suppressor.

Our big barrel over barrel versions will accept barrels of up to 25.5mm in diameter.
Non magnum comes back 145mm over the barrel
Magnum comes back 195mm over the barrel

Our Ultra Magnum suppressor extends 141mm forward of the muzzle and 200mm over the barrel.

    Cheers

Don't forget the rimfire suppressors in your range. An over-barrel version would be a nice addition.

I asked about that when Darren was in Tok. LOL. The muzzle forward one works ok . Clean them regularly and they become quieter. No bs.

@DPT Am I able to buy 2 baffles and a muzzle brake cap online without a permit? Despite my best efforts I can’t get the front baffle to unscrew

Mine was tight to undo on a couple of baffles last week so I ran some very hot water on the female thread section only and it then came apart. Make sure you don't distort the baffle in any way by gripping it too tight with tools.

You don't need a permit for those, but you could go to your local hunting retailer and have them order the parts for you.
The front cap is permanently attached to the front baffle. If you're referring to two baffles stuck together, you could try using hose clamps with a protective layer underneath to avoid damage. We also sell tools designed for disassembly, or you can send the suppressor back to us, and we’ll separating them.

@DPT It’s the first and second baffle stuck, I tried hose clamps to no avail, if you hadn’t come out with the brake cap it wouldn’t be a problem
