How to spot mk1 vs mk2?
Hi guys I have a DPT suppressor and was looking at getting some extra baffles for it to use on my .300wsm, its currently on my .308.
But looking on your website it has options for mk1 or mk2 modular suppressor extra baffles.
On my suppressor it just says
DPT modular
non magnum centerfire
14x1
Nothing about mk1 or mk2. I tried to measure as I noticed that there is a slight difference in diameter, but without calipers that didnt help much. Any way to tell them apart?
Also can I buy a different threaded baffle to fit my other rifle? (Once I figure out its thread)
Cheers

might as well ask the man him self @DPT

I can't find where I read it on their site, but I'm pretty sure it's only the MK 2s that identify themselves, after all, when they made the MK 1s, there was nothing to differentiate them from. Have confirmed that my MK 2 is marked as such.

Hi,
Yes the mk2 is marked MKII.
The Mk 1 is not marked.
So Dan88, your dpt is an MK1.

Thanks for the quick response, I can order accordingly now.

Hi berg,
They work fine with those smaller capacity cases. But if you have at least 120mm of barrel sticking out of your forend , go with a standard overbarrel, price is the same not much weight difference and quieter.
