    Shortening CZ 452 barrel - FAO: DPT

    As per my recent thread, I'd like to shorten the barrel on my CZ 452. I've read a bit online about this going disastrously wrong. It has been suggested that the recrowning is at fault and/or CZ rimfire barrels are choked and shouldn't be cut. Might be bullshit, don't know. @DPT - what do you think? Have you done many CZ rimfires? Cheers.

    He cut mine back to about 15" shoots great little groups and is very very handy to use

    Yeah, that's what I'm after, but don't want to end up with a ruined barrel. It seems to go well for most, but there are a few horror stories out there.

    Shit work can always pop up, you wont get that from DPT though so go for it.

    Done two for me. Both perfect afterwards.
    Perhaps in the horror stories the machine shops got it wrong ...
