Thread: A few recent LR rifle builds

Like alot of professional gunsmiths, i'm usually too busy trying to catch up on the work backlog, and never take enough photos of my work.

This summer has been a mission trying to get a few projects and custom rifle jobs sorted for my (patient) customers, after the usual long wait to get all parts, etc required.

Here are a few pics of 3 LR rifles just recently finished, all had True Flite barrels, and all shot outstandingly well with just preliminary trial loads. As you can see they also all carry my Megamax muzzlebrakes, the #1 choice for recoil reduction with larger profiled barrels. 'Minimum added length, maximum recoil reduction and muzzle-rise cancel' - just like the ad says!!

With standard earmuffs or plugs these brakes make the bigger calibres a dream to shoot. The retained accuracy with my brake designs has also been confirmed on the test targets.

Rifles are:

1. Rem 700 trued and double-sleeved bolt, Wyatt DM kit, .300 Rem Ultra-mag custom.

2. Barnard Model P in .300 WSM.

3. Barnard Model PT in .338 Edge.
