my biggest reward so far is regularly seeing the bloke i revived from cardiac arrest on the 3rd Jan 2016, a day i will never forget. It's not about me doing it, it's about his family still having him around and his wife, son and grand kids not watching him die that day.
Most days when i drop the kids off at school i see him walking his dog, with his wife usually. It's a surreal thing and makes every minute of volunteering worth it.
