My mate shot this boar and wants to shoulder mount it. We are unsure if it's doable with the infected eye area. Any thoughts on whether this is a right off? in the freezer at the moment.

And all the ticks too?
Man he's lousy, in a couple of hours they'll be gone though stay clear till then
The eye won't matter, it adds character
good looking pig...any half competent taxidermist will do that just fine.
pig lice....why singeing them is so popular in certain locations...not much chop for mounting afterwards though LOL. actually that WOULD look hard case... @Billbob take note...reckon a 60-80lb sow would look great too
75/15/10 black powder matters
Yep if your wanting to get him mounted, go for it. Definitely adds character to have a one eyed boat, eye may even clean up to have two, if not ask for half price discount for only use of 1 eye haha
Having a singed pig mounted, would looks like one of those furless cats you see from time to time. They look like nature forgot to dress them .. haha
Pig lice. Why pig hunters wear undie gruts instead of boxer shorts
nah that pigs got nothing on the sheilahs from Hamilton or waimate....

I think it would be sweet with one eye!!
A lot of “famous” US hunters will shoot really big wapiti that are really broken and then have a taxidermist add all the broken points back…seems absurd to me.
Keep it one-eyed mate.
