Yeah bro that's the process I followed.
I found the Chamois skull I cleaned was much more delicate than the red deer or tahr ones I had worked with - so be careful when boiling it (minimum time is best == don't leave it for hours and hours) and watch the water blaster strength and how close you are to the skull.
