    Yes totally different bird. Very cool, but also very menacing if they decide your chooks look tasty.
    Also devastating on Wood Pigeons.

    I dropped a roadkill hawk off to DOC a few years ago. They were going to test it for brodifacoum to see if secondary poisoning was happening then give it to local iwi (maybe for feathers?)

    yes give it to DOC the feathers are given to Iwi for training in the making of cloaks etc
