@Preacher Yup; definitely the best tutorials
To let my tahr head rot by leaving in water - I assume I leave the horns out of the water? Obviously need the horns to pull off as well so maybe leave just the bottom in the water? Don't have the water blaster on hand yet so will leave in water to rot before boiling/water blasting

Yeah, I put mine in a bucket of water and filled up to base of horns. Left it for a week and the horns wriggled off.
Thanks @RUMPY I'll try that. To reduce smell, I will try seal the bucket/pot to reduce the smell because I live in a set of 5 flats

Hahaha, yeah it's not something you want indoors or near the house/flat. Did you open the link on page 1 (reply 15) on this thread? The info pasted there by Bunji was quite helpful when I did mine. Do you have anyone or place to take the bucket to if your neighbours complain? Might be a forum member living close by with a back yard you could use.
I picked up @jpurdon Tahr head to prevent him upsetting his neighbours and cleaned it up for him. Come out very nice.
@Billbob looks epic mate, thanks heaps and look forward to seeing it in person
