    Stag at bay

My dad has had an old etching for years, a well known work by Sir Edwin Landseer titled "stag at bay".

He's hobby farmed deer for years, stopping only recently. His best stags were all classic style heads, and he decided to have his last stag mounted like the stag at bay as it had similar antlers. He picked it up from Vern Pearson in Taupo last week who did the usual impeccable job.

You have a very strong father. I honestly thought that the picture was drawn from the head of a deer.
