    Tanning skin after hanging

I assume it is not worth tanning a skin after the animal has been hanging chilled for a week?

Nothing wrong far as am aware. Its been cooled down etc. I hang my fallow in my chiller before skinning and freezing before sending them in to be tanned.
I shot my fisrt thar 12months ago on dark. Went back the next morning and skinned it, Warm day the next day and just keeped it in the shade. that night put in on a rock and opening it up. wasn't till the next day at lunch when i got back to the hut before getting salt on it and 6 days after that i put it in a freezer and it turned out mint. We had some hot days in there so i was happy it worked out.

I dont leave the skin on that long but have had no problems with 2-4 days in the chiller.
