    Taxidermy peacock price/ Waikato

Anyone here have any idea on price to taxidermy a peacock and know of someone who could do the job in the Waikato area?
What’s the process for this from paddock to the taxidermist? I haven’t ever had anything done professionally before.
Have some big beautiful birds and would love to get one or three done.
    Thanks

shoot them....put in plastic bag or three....a few layers wont hurt in the freezer, drop off, wait 6-12 months and then fork out cost of small 2nd hand car and go pick up your bird...my best GUESS is $500-1000 most places will have a website with prices.....my good red stag was done in taupo.

I reckon closer to double that for a good taxi on a peacock...my blondie and standard drake pair likely to cost $1k

just an idea - i have seen a job my mate did with a big peacock - he carefully removed tail feathers and spread them out exactly in order on piece of pale blue painted ply - looked damn effective up on wall
