    Arrows for Sika

what's everyone use as arrows for Sika?

    And which lighted nocks?

I've dusted off the PSE Brute-have a couple Sika Stopper arrows left 340 spine- it doesn't look like they're selling these anymore.

    cheers

You need to get the arrows to match the bow rather than an animal like a sika. If 340 spine is correct then pretty much any 340 spine will be ok. The actual arrow may depend on what total weight of arrow you want and what diameter of arrow you want.
I am using the Victory RIP TKO.

What ever you shoot, accurate with a razor shaving head. The better it cuts the faster they die.

Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

If I were to change arrows again I would go back to black eagle renegades from attitude archery. From memory they were $15 an arrow and I had some great results from them. Am using Victory RIP TKO now which are great arrows, but quite a bit more expensive for the same result.
Stick a slick trick 4 blade broadhead on the front and you will be away laughing

Sika are not large. Even as low as 400 grain would do, 40lbs+ if trad kit. The most important thing above basic momentum is a great tune. A well tuned sufficiently heavy arrow from a 40lb recurve is far more lethal than a 60lb shooting noodles. And so you should bareshaft and broadhead tune. Bareshaft with field points should group with fletched out to your effective hunting distance. Ensure your broadhead is shaving sharp (ideally 2 blade in my biased opinion). I shoot the Gold Tip Hunters, but the budget (Aliexpress) Accmos are good too. My current hunting rig is a 56lb recurve shooting GT Hunter 340 spine, for a GPP of around 9.3.

+ plus for 2 bladed broadheada
The original zwickey can't be beaten , copied by everyone
I've dropped almost everything but elephant and rhino in Africa on em
Seen elephant and rhino dropped by them
Dr Adrian Richter and Jim Morris was hunters
Fund a weight your bow likes , load for bow not game , a well tuned arrow will do same as 40lb more shittily tuned
I've got data on that from the 80s
