No problem
Diamond do make about the only kid bows over here that are at a good price that are not toys. Over the years we have had the diamond nuclear ice which is about as small as you can go while still being a properly designed compound, just scaled down in size. Then there is the atomic that I linked to above. That could last him many years as you can increase the draw length and wind up the poundage past what he could draw.
I think he would 'like' to upgrade past it before he needed to. The next one up, either the diamond infinite edge of the bowtech fuel would be the next thing, depending on his body size from 10 years to 12 years old.
The atomic could easily last him six years as long as it's not too much of a struggle at this stage. I am struggling to remember exactly what age my son went on to the atomic from the nuclear ice. I think it was around 7 years old but could have done it earlier I think.
There are other kid options over here, the hoyt ruckus and the mission (something I forget the name) but both would be too large I think.
Good luck looking!
