    great nz vd down south

You may like to check out youtube channel "keeping it wild" latest one today. Southland somewhere I believe. He has a take down traditional recurve (same as mine actually) with a very cool bow quiver homemade with deer antler.
I rate him as genuine as you can be and enjoy his channel.
    cheers

I believe Matt died in June 2022 so no more vids from him.

I think he had some kind of cancer. I'll have a search, I saw a farcebook post a few months ago about his passing.

Yes, he's a genuine sort of kiwi bushman thats for sure.

I think he's back up north now. Those steep gutty stream beds and papa faces are a bit of a giveaway its up Bay of Plenty way. be my guess.

We've been doing the Keeping it Wild bushcraft course on Patreon as a family. Well worth the Netflix - level subscription. Learned so much about edible plants as well as skinning and butchering deer, as well as making fires etc. His bushcraft is fantastic. Now we just need to get out and put it into practice

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.
