Boom, cough,cough,cough
i would go for an adjustable compound bow
something like this, although the draw weight isnt changeable the draw length is

try these guys https://www.archerydirect.co.nz/ they were a big help when my one got into it
gets to be an expensive habit if you take it up seriously, lose an arrow and it $20 gone. (more if its a decent broadhead)
im lucky my daughter now old enough to buy her own and she did 2 weeks ago, she been saving for last 12 months and just dropped $2500 on a new bow, glad it was her and not me
i'm missing my bow but only just got the feeling back into my fingers and arm strength after 5 years of being f***ed.
Hey @Maca49 I picked up a bunch of these the other day for our commercial range https://www.guncity.com/ekyouth-cham...10-15lb-341582
But whatever you get make sure it matches her strength so it's fun to shoot. Don't have to buy anything flash for young kids start ,soon she will develop the right muscle groups than she can move onto a real bow.
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.
i had a peek at one of those a week back as one of the wifes friends kids wants to get into archery, for the money its not too bad especially if its going to be abandoned after a week. most kids are more into electronic games nowadays. i'm not saying i'm an old man but i thought "pokemon" was a gay rastafarian
