    I reckon get the MK I Black Hunter. Mandarin Duck are only selling the MK II now, which has the square limb butts. The MK II is a good riser, but I did see 2 reports of riser failure. Two is nothing at their sales volume though, and it was when it was just launched. Nonetheless I prefer to wait a year or two for such things to smooth out. You can buy the widely reputed MK I from this site here:

    He'll sort you out with the bits and pieces and will accept a return if you don't like it. Get it shipped to your wife, will cost next to nothing. They can tend to pull a little heavier than listed. Mine are a few lbs over. Grab a 45lb - should be just about enough for anything here, with a well tuned arrow. Palmy has a lot of goats that need dealing with. Truth is the whole country is overrun and needs hunters out there on the job!
